Every year, for the last 14 years, our good friends go all out to help a family in need. This year the Wright family from Louisiana, a family that recently lost everything in the flooding, is getting some much needed help from our families in Anthem and New River! Nannette, Josh and Jolie Miller team up with the Roadrunner Restaurant and Saloon in New River to throw one heck of a party! Fresh crawfish for the boil are flown in specifically for this event and Josh makes the best gumbo this side of the Mississippi for sure and last night was no exception. Combine great Cajun food, with fun prizes, an awesome silent auction, live entertainment in the form of live music from Hollywood Yates, a bullfighter turned country crooner, and live bull riding and you have a uniquely Arizona Mardi Gras party. The numbers aren’t in but judging by the bidding on the silent auction a lot of much needed assistance will be headed to a family in desperate need of help.
